Maryland football has unveiled a new uniform which will be worn by the Terps on Oct. 28 for a Homecoming meeting with Indiana.

The uniform consists of a yellow jersey with horizontal black stripes across the chest, a yellow helmet with black numbers on the side and black pants with white vertical stripes on each leg.

This continues the trend of special uniforms designed by Under Armour that the Terps have become known for over recent years.

Last season the Terps wore special 'Red Ops' uniforms for their meeting with Ohio State in College Park. The Terps debuted 'White Ops' uniforms in 2012 and 'Black Ops' uniforms in 2014. Maryland also wore a special uniform in 2014 to commemorate the Battle of Baltimore.

In 2015 the Terps wore 1961 throwback uniforms in Baltimore against Penn State. This new uniform, described by the hashtag '#RaiseHigh' for it's black and gold coloring, is inspired by the jerseys worn in the 1940's and is to help commemorate 125 years of Maryland football.

The Terps open the season Sept. 2 against the Texas Longhorns in Austin.
