It's been quite the month for the Rutgers Football program as they have landed their eighth commitment since June 3rd as 2024 North Carolina athlete Noah Shaw has committed to the program today.

Shaw is listed as a 6-foot-1, 195-pound prospect is listed as an athlete currently, but could play a variety of positions at the next level including nickel defensive back, safety or linebacker.

As a member of the class of 2024, Shaw plays for Asheville Lincoln High School down in North Carolina thus making him the third prospect from the Tar Heel state to commit to the Scarlet Knights this recruiting cycle as he joins wide receiver commits Benjamin Black and Isaiah Crumpler.

With the addition of Shaw, this now makes that "epic first official visit" weekend back on June 2nd that much better of a three day span as the Scarlet Knights have now landed five recruits from that trip and are still in the hunt for a few others as well.

This past season as a Junior in high school, Shaw managed to put up some serious numbers as he finished the year with 11 games played while racking up 115 total tackles, three sacks, three tackles for loss, six quarterback hurries, 15 pass breakups, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries.

In the end Shaw, chose Rutgers over several other notable offers from programs such as Duke, Missouri, Vanderbilt and several others.
