Rutgers landed the biggest commitment of the Steve Pikiell era this evening when shooting guard Montez Mathis of John Carroll (Bel Air, Md.) announced via Twitter that he will be a Scarlet Knight. Mathis is a four-star recruit ranked No.86 in Rivals.com's national class of 2018.
