COACHSPEAK: Rutgers lands a very physical LB in Samarian Robinson
Rutgers Football recently landed their third linebacker commit of the 2024 cycle, as they flipped as one of UCF's top prospect in Samarian Robinson out of Lincoln High School down in Tallahassee, Florida.
Not too long after the commitment, The Knight Report spoke with Lincoln High School Linebackers coach and Recruiting Coordinator, Eli Williams to help break down what Rutgers is getting in the three-star prospect.
HOW IS ROBINSON AS A PLAYER ON THE FIELD: “Sam is the general of our defense and a very physical football player. He takes pride in doing his job and making sure everyone around him is doing their job as well, which is what makes him an elite player for us.
He's also a very coachable player that gives a lot credit to both the coaching staff and his mentor Raylen Wilson who is now at Georgia for helping become the player he is today, both physically and mentally."
