The battle of the New Jersey satellite camps begins today as coaches from Rutgers, Ohio State and Temple will host a camp later at Farleigh Dickinson University in Madison, N.J. Meanwhile, Michigan is running its own Satellite Camp at Paramus Catholic High School in Paramus, N.J.

Scarlet Nation has obtained rosters for both camps and the number of prospects confirmed for the FDU camp greatly exceed the prospect turnout that is expected at Paramus Catholic.

Rutgers commit Micah Clark, who is the No.199-ranked prospect in Rivals.com’s class of 2017 will lead the way at the FDU camp. Scarlet Nation has also confirmed that Rivals250 four-star Markquese Bell is expected be in attendance at FDU after participating in the NJ Track Meet of Champions this afternoon.

The recruiting class of 2018 will be well represented at FDU as national prospect Tyler Friday of Don Bosco will put his skills on display.

Defensive end prospect Dorian Hardy of St. Joe’s Montvale confirmed that he will also be there, along with rising tight end prospect Jeremy Ruckert (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) and wide receiver Justin Shorter of South Brunswick.

St. Peter’s Prep standout family duo of Jayson Ademilola and Justin Ademilola seemed to be on the fence about which camp they would attend, but the latest word is that they will be at the FDU camp.

The class of 2019 will be highlighted by defensive lineman Antonio Alfano of Bergen Catholic High School and wide receiver Symir Blacknall of Manalapan High School.

Rutgers will be well represented as far as commits are concerned, with Johnathan Lewis (St. Peter’s Prep), Everett Wormley (Burlington Township), Bryce Watts (Toms River North), Edwin Lopez (Woodrow Wilson) and Jamaal Beaty (St. John Vianney) all planning to be at FDU.

Over at the Paramus Catholic, Shelton Applewhite (DePaul), Artur Sitkowski (Old Bridge) and Jasiah Provillon (Irvington) are the only confirmed notable prospects, along with the Paramus Catholic prospects, who are expected to be on hand.
