Jalen Chatman will not return to Rutgers for his second season.

The 6-foot, 180-pound redshirt freshman quarterback will use his four years of eligibility elsewhere.

Chatman, a native of Inglewood, Ca., didn't appear in any games last season and was redshirted by the staff. The former 5.5, three-star signal caller was the second commitment in the 2017 class having committed in May of 2017.

Rutgers has not commented on the move.
