Rutgers cornerback Christian Braswell declares for 2023 NFL Draft

Rutgers Football cornerback Christian Braswell took to Twitter to announce that he has declared for the 2023 NFL Draft.

Braswell arrived on the banks prior to the 2021 season via the transfer portal after spending four seasons with the Temple Owls. Prior to that he was two-star recruit out of Friendship Collegiate Academy down in Washington, D.C.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound defensive back missed his first season (2021) with the Scarlet Knights due to a knee injury suffered in preseason, but bounced back nicely in 2022 appearing in all 12 games (5 starts) all at cornerback.

In those 12 games, he finished with 37 total tackles (25 solo), 3 interceptions, 11 passes defended and one blocked kick.
