One of the nation’s top recruits in 2026, four-star lineman Tyler Merrill made a visit to campus on Sunday for the program’s Junior Day and he walked away with an offer.

"The visit was good, I got to talk with coach (Greg) Schiano and he offered me,” Merrill told TKR. “Overall his message was that I really fit into the FTC culture and was saying that he thinks I am a great player and an even better person. He said he looks for people like me and that those guys are hard to find. Overall he just seemed like he really had my best interest in mind.”
