Rutgers was 11.5-point underdogs heading into their Saturday match-up against Purdue in West Lafayette and once again silenced the doubters, coming out with a 37-30 victory.
The win was the second of the year for the Scarlet Knights, who arguably could just as easily be 4-2 this season as they are 2-4. The improved results from the program this season have not gone unnoticed, especially by recruiting targets considering the program, which is key for the continued march towards winning a Big Ten title one day.
