Cignetti: Is he the new OC
For the past two weeks, Round Table readers have been told that an announcement of the new OC was on the horizon. Sources suggested that former Pitt assistant Frank Cignetti was prepared to accept the job. Yet every time it seemed to be close to an announcement....nothing.
Well, the latest is that Cignetti is no longer in Pittsburgh. In fact, according to a source, he is on his way to Rutgers.

"He is leaving tomorrow and it will likely be announced on Tuesday." said the source.
The news was first made public today by footballscoop.com, but with the Pittsburgh staff once again in transition and with Cignetti's name still mentioned for the vacancy, we'll continue to take a wait-and-see approach until the official announcement is made.
