CB Logic Hudgens picks up Rutgers offer

Recruiting keeps on getting busier for class of 2019 cornerback Logic Hudgens of Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Md. Lat this afternoon, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound junior added a Rutgers offer, upping his total to six.

“I just got off the phone with coach [Cory Robinson],” Hudgens said. “He offered me. He came to one of my workouts before when he was at Temple. That was my first time meeting him during my sophomore year. He has been staying it up with me since then. He talked about my size and how I can come up and tackle and also play well in coverage.”

Hudgens paid a recent visit to Rutgers during one of the program’s junior days.

“I really enjoyed it ,” he said. “Their main focus was life after football. That was really good and it stuck out to me. I like technology and computers and creating stuff. So I may do something along the lines of that after football.”

Hudgens also has plans to return to Rutgers for an upcoming spring practice.

Meanwhile, he holds other offers from Syracuse, Boston College, Temple, Charlotte and Buffalo.

“They are all saying they want me to come up to their spring practices and stuff like that,” Hudgens said.

His home state school of Maryland is also keeping in touch on a regular basis and with all this attention suddenly coming Hudgens’ way, he revealed what he is looking for in a college.

“The coaching staff is important and I kind of want to stay close to home so people can come see my games. I want to keep that in mind. And like Rutgers, I want a school that is not just focused on football, but also focused on making me a better person.”
