Alabama dipped into Ohio to flip Rutgers safety commit Riyhael Kelley on Monday after his trip to Tuscaloosa. The Winton Woods standout committed to Rutgers following an official visit to New Jersey but then flipped to the Tide on the heels of that visit. Before committing to Rutgers, Kelley was committed to Toledo for a month.
For Kelley it came down to what Alabama offers on every level compared to other programs
“I felt comfortable like I could be myself around coaches and players. They have the technology to keep me healthy and I feel like that’s the place where I’m going to be more developed, he said.
Kelley was teammates with current Alabama defender Justin Hill.
