Rivals.com’s RCS Three-Stripe Camp hit Piscataway yesterday as a large collection of talent came out for the event. Rutgers class of 2018 cornerback commit Jarrett Paul of Paramus Catholic was on hand, in addition to a host of Rutgers targets, including four-star offensive lineman Rasheed Walker of North Point High in Waldorf, Md.

Walker currently has Rutgers in his top six and stay tuned for a more in-depth article on his recruitment later on Scarlet Nation.

Walker was among a long list of prospects that stopped by Rutgers after the camp for a barbeque hosted by the RU coaching staff.

That capped off a week in which recruiting remained busy for Rutgers as its quarterback search has now extended to California.

An offer went out last week to Sean Chambers of Kerman High School (Kerman, Calif.).

“My coach told me to give Coach [Jerry] Kill a call and he told me the news,” Chambers told Scarlet Nation. “He told me he liked my size overall and how I threw the ball. He wants me to get over to Rutgers for a visit to campus very soon.”

Rutgers is also in the final two for California quarterback Jalen Chatman of Narbonne High School in Los Angeles.

“I’m planning on visiting [Rutgers] from May 14-15th. I’m hoping to see the football facilities, campus, and the stadium,” Chatman said. “I want to see what Rutgers has to offer not only as an athlete, but as a student too.”

The men’s hoops team added a future part of the team last when 6-foot-5 shooting guard Peter Kiss signed with Rutgers after averaging 13.3 points per game last season as a freshman at Quinnipiac.

“It feels great to finally sign,” Kiss said last week. “It is sort of like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I am very excited about the opportunity at Rutgers that Coach [Steve] Pikiell and the whole coaching staff has given me. I feel like Coach Pikiell is building something special and I can't wait to get to work.”
