Rutgers Hoops takes down the Madrid All-Stars, 96-78

Wednesday, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights men’s basketball team took on on the Madrid All-Stars in the first of four games on their summer tour in Spain and won 96-78.

Below is the starting five that head coach Steve Pikiell rolled out to open up the first game of the trip.

The Scarlet Knights came out of the gate hot with an early 20-9 run in the first and held the lead for the rest of the way.

Rutgers had a handful of guys contribute as head coach Steve Pikiell used a number of different guys on the floor.

Here is a look at some of the stat leaders:

Shaq Carter led the team in scoring with 18 total points.

— Geo Baker led the team in assists with four

— Yeboah, Carter, Johnson and Harper each had six rebounds a piece.
