Rutgers Hoops defeats Fairleigh Dickinson, now 2-0 on the season

Rutgers men's basketball team hit the hardwood again today for game two of the 2020-21 season as the Scarlet Knights defeated Fairleigh Dickinson by a final score of 96-75.

Early on Rutgers saw some struggles on the offensive end, but that was shut down pretty quickly as Jacob Young and Ron Harper Jr caught fire to combine for 34 points in the first half and 54 points total in the game.

Along with those two, Rutgers also had a solid performance from junior Montez Mathis who finished with 15pts, 4rebs, 3asts and 3stls.
