The Ardmore, Pennsylvania native was most recently the Lehigh University linebackers / defensive run game coordinator this past season, helping linebackers Keith Woetzel and Pete Haffner combine for 16.5 sack last season.

Before Lehigh, Noonan spent four years at Holy Cross as the team's defensive line coach where he helped multiple defensive linemen land first team All-Patriot League honors.

As a player, Noonan spent five seasons (2006-2010) at Rutgers, with his best season coming in 2010. That year he was named a team captain and finished with 38 total tackles (17 solo), 2.5 tackles for loss and one interception.

Noonan would then go on to get into coaching immediately following his playing career, with his first job being a volunteer assistant at Haverford High School over in Pennsylvania.
