The first half was just about what you would expect from a Big Ten basketball game this year as both programs shot under 30% and combined to shoot 16-of-55 through the first 20 minutes of play. The Scarlet Knights had six different players not make a single basket in the first half.

Thankfully for all that were watching, things got much better in the second half, especially on Rutgers end as they managed to shoot 50.0% from the field. The scoring was a group effort for the Scarlet Knights, as four different players scored four or more points in the final 20 minutes. The leaders of that group was Mawot Mag who had a game high 15pts and Jeremiah Williams chipped in 14pts of his own.

This was a big win for the Scarlet Knights as they are now starting to find their groove, now winning back to back road games after some ugly performances earlier this season. Now if they can get the first half struggles on offense under control, the sky is the limit.
