Rutgers adds former Don Bosco CB Lawrence Stevens

Rutgers added another new player to its class of 2016 as former Don Bosco cornerback Lawrence Stevens will join the Scarlet Knights this summer. The decision came today following an unofficial visit to campus.

“I am committed to Rutgers as a walk-on,” Stephens confirmed with Scarlet Nation.

Stevens was part of the class of 2015 and had previously committed to Army. He spent last year at Army Prep, but was not obligated to remain there.

Stevens offered up the reason why he chose Rutgers.

“I wanted to come back home. It feels good to be back home,” he said.
