Action Network (Brett McMurphy): Pinstripe Bowl - NC State vs. Rutgers

(December 28th - Bronx, New York)

Same as last week, setting up the Scarlet Knights to head to the most local bowl game, the Pinstripe Bowl. In Palm's projected matchup, he has the Scarlet Knights taking on NC State, a former bowl opponent back in 2008 when the Scarlet Knights defeated the Wolfpack in the Birmingham Bowl.

Athlon Sports (Steven Lassan): Pinstripe Bowl - Wake Forest vs. Rutgers

(December 28th - Bronx, New York)

This one remains the same as the last few weeks per Athlon, setting up a potential rematch of the 2021 Gator Bowl where Rutgers was a last second addition the bowl over Texas A&M due to an insufficient numbers of players being available. This would also give RU a chance for their first ever win vs. Wake Forest.

CBS Sports (Jerry Palm): Pinstripe Bowl - NC State vs. Rutgers

(December 28th - Bronx, New York)

Similar to McMurphy's prediction above, Palm also kept Rutgers in the Pinstripe Bowl versus North Carolina State.

College Football News: Quick Lane Bowl - Toledo vs. Rutgers

(December 26th - Detroit, Michigan)

Little bit of a switchup from the CFN team this week as they have Rutgers headed to the Midwest, back to the Quick Lane Bowl for a matchup against Toledo. Last time the Scarlet Knights were in this bowl game was back in 2014, where they defeated North Carolina 40-21.

ESPN (Kyle Bonagura): Las Vegas Bowl - Utah vs. Rutgers

(December 23rd - Las Vegas, Nevada)

Same bowl prediction this week from Bonagura, but this time around he swaps out USC with Utah to setup the first ever matchup between the two programs and an interesting one at that.

ESPN (Mark Schlabach): Pinstripe Bowl - Boston College vs. Rutgers

(December 28th - Bronx, New York)

It's the same bowl prediction once again this week from Schlabach, but he switched up the opponents setting up a rematch of the 2022 season opener for both programs.
