With over 40 teams in attendance, we scoured the ten playing fields looking for some pretty impressive performances. Here's what we saw in day one.

Sling and Shoot - Day One top performers
Noah Johnson - Seffner Armwood - QB
Johnson impressed RTB at the Sling and Shoot last month - and did the same today. He doesn't have the prettiest mechanics since he was used as an athlete last season - but this guy is a natural born leader. Johnson marches Armwood down the field time and time again - leading his squad to an undefeated day one. He's proving that he can be a solid pocket quarterback, but we know this guy is going to be electric in the open field once the pads come on this fall.
Robert Byrd - Fort Myers Dunbar - WR
Byrd gets overlook because of his size - but every time he steps on a field - he's one of the most athletically gifted players you'll see. He's listed at (a generous) 5-foot-8 but he plays like he's 6-foot-1. Byrd was used all over the field for Dunbar - safety, receiver, corner, and even quarterback. Byrd is an absolute competitor. He works best in the slot at receiver - he ran a very nice corner route for about a 40 yard touchdown. Byrd works over the middle of the field and is just a warrior.
Chase Litton Tampa Wharton - QB
The Wharton squad isn't exactly Team Tampa like - but Litton still puts on a show. As Trent Dilfer would say - he's a 'surgeon' at quarterback. Litton is a free safeties worst nightmare - he's constantly looking off the safety and delivering strikes down the seam. Teams that sat in a Cover 2 or Cover 3 defense got tore apart. Litton doesn't force the ball - which is a great sign for USF fans. Instead of forcing the ball into coverage, he takes his check downs and moves the chains. His footwork spot on - and has a quick release. The velocities on Litton's balls are impressive.
Colby Brown Tampa Plant - QB
Another solid quarterback prospect is Colby Brown - the signal caller for the Plant Panthers. This Plant squad is a well-oiled machine and Brown is a big reason why. He's a great leader and just knows where to put the ball. Even though Plant had a few players missing on defense, they should still make a run in the playoffs.
Alex McGough Tampa Gaither - QB
Like Litton, Alex McGough has all the tools you want in a division one quarterback. McGough throws a very pretty deep ball with a tight spiral. Gaither should also be in contention for the Sling and Shoot title. The Florida International commit might take a little longer to develop at the next level, but will be solid starter for the Panthers.
Shawn Burgess-Becker - Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch ATH
Burgess-Becker played safety and wide receiver for Monarch - and this 2015 prospect was one of the best overall players today. He has great size and instincts. He has an impressive offer list to go along with his great play. Shawn's ball skills are impressive as he leaped over defenders on long balls for touchdowns.
Devonaire Clarington - Miami Westminster Christian - WR
Westminster Christian is loaded with 2015 talent - and Clarington is one of their top guys. He boasts an impressive offer list - and you can see why on the field. He's 6-foot-5 225-pounds and is a virtual nightmare to defend. He catches the ball at its highest point and uses his body to fight off smaller defensive backs.
