The previous athletic season was an eventful and momentous one in many ways for Texas Tech. And while the "name" sports experienced their fair share of highs and lows, some of the less visible programs also produced stories of note. Here is a brief yet wide-ranging recap of some of those happenings...[details]
Strengths: Jackson's jump shot has pretty much flawless form. He gets high elevation, has a high release point, is consistent in his shooting motions and features a lightning-quick trigger. He has the ability to create his own shot, whether it be a 3-pointer or a floater in the lane. Jackson shows a very crafty ability to put the ball in the hoop, and his clutch play won several games for Texas Tech over the past four years.
Weaknesses: Jackson played off the ball in college and lacks the vision to make the transition to the lead guard spot. He also struggles defensively against quicker players, and lacks quickness with the ball in his hands.
Outlook: Jackson's limitations only leave him a few options in terms of NBA teams that may give him a chance. If he doesn't get the chance to play in an up-tempo system, he will certainly make good money in Europe.
