Scouting Rose at Pine Forest



Last Friday The Wolfpacker was out in full force for the first round of the state playoffs.

One of our stops was making the drive to Fayetteville to watch five-star defensive end and NC State-lean Kentavius Street and his Greenville (N.C.) Rose team take on Fayetteville (N.C.) Pine Forest, which features four star defensive tackle Lamont Gaillard, a Georgia commit, and three-star defensive end Harold Landry, who is a Boston College pledge. All three defensive linemen are ranked among the state's top 20 players.

The Game



Traffic slightly delayed The Wolfpacker from arriving for kickoff and by the time we walked into the stadium it was already 7-0 in favor of Rose, the underdog entering the game.

The visitors wasted no time in quickly making it 17-0, thanks to a pair of long touchdown completions from quarterback Khalil Smith to Cornell Powell; one was 78 yards and the other was from 75 yards out.
