Stock rising for JC DT

The Oregon Ducks are looking for some big bodies on defense in the class of 2014 because after the 2013 season they will graduate five from the unit. One rising candidate is Mount San Jacinto CC defensive tackle Sam Schwab who has already amassed four D-1 offers and is poised for more.

Duck Sports Authority caught up with the 6-foot-3, 305-pound athlete to get a summer update.

"Recruiting is going very well," Schwab began. "I have been in constant communication with Oregon. They said they were probably going to offer within the first couple weeks of the season. I am also in communication with UCLA and Baylor. But then I have offers from Illinois, Boise State, Washington State and Utah State.
