SCOOP HD: Williams Part of Big Year at Lufkin?

LUFKIN, Texas - Recently Oklahoma made it's first offer at Lufkin high school since briefly pursuing Carrington Byndom in the class of 2010. The Sooners noticed Byndom while evaluating eventual Sooner signee, and Rivals100 member, Jamarkus McFarland.

Five years after landing McFarland the Sooners have thrown their hat in the ring with another Panthers defensive tackle, this time fast-rising 6-foot-3, 270-pound lineman D.J. Williams.
