Izzo likes J3's mismatch skills
Few in college basketball can work a mismatch to their advantage better than Tom Izzo.
The Spartans rode the mismatch-ability of Draymond Green (Golden State Warriors) to a Big Ten Championship, a Big Ten Tournament Championship, and a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament during what was expected to be a rebuilding year for the program last season.
Memphis (Tenn.) Southwind forward Johnathan Williams III possesses many of the necessary skills to be a similar match-up nightmare at Michigan State if he were to join the Spartan program in the Class of 2013.
Michigan State has stiff competition from Tennessee, Georgetown, Missouri, and Texas for the signature of the 6-foot-9, 210-pound senior who is ranked the No. 10 power forward and No. 47 overall player by Rivals.com
But the Spartans increased their chances of signing Williams after hosting the versatile forward on a recent official visit.
