Richardson on a camp tour
St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.) standout Franklyn Richardson was sitting on one offer when the summer began.
So the six-foot, 173-pound wide receiver decided to take his talents on the road making camp stops at Mississippi State, Cincinnati, Auburn and Georgia in hopes of making an impression.
Richardson's camp stop in Starkville was to fulfill a promise he made to wide receivers coach Angelo Mirando back in the spring.
"During the spring Coach Mirando came out there and saw us and I told him I was going to come out and see the school," Richardson said. "Plus I've heard a lot about the school before so I wanted to come out and see how it was so that's why I came out here to the camp."
During his first visit to MSU, Richardson seemed impressed by the surroundings.
