Flashes add another
Despite struggling through a 3-9 season, Kent State has proven to many of their top recruiting targets that the program is headed in the right direction. Thought the Golden Flashes expect to sign a small class in 2008, several prospects already have verbally committed to head coach Doug Martin and his staff.
The latest, Justin Thompson of DeSales High School in Columbus, Ohio, committed earlier in the fall.
"I heard about Kent State a lot," Thompson said. "I have a friend from St. Charles that goes up there-Chris Favazzo-so I went up to visit and I liked it. I committed about three to four weeks into the season."
