Jackson getting close

With one commitment in-hand for 2008, Purdue may be in position to soon gain its second.

As Lewis Jackson approaches the end of what's been a long, eventful recruiting process, the highly recruited point guard from Eisenhower High School in Decatur, Ill., has an unofficial visit to West Lafayette set for Thursday.

Though still considering a final list of five - Purdue, Indiana, Bradley, Dayton and Tennessee - that doesn't reflect the many other offers he's fielded - the Purdue visit is the only one he's scheduled thus far. His intention is to have a decision made by the end of the month.
