Bruins Impressive In Victory

The top ranked Bruin basketball team destroyed previously once-beaten Michigan at Pauley Pavilion on Saturday, using terrific defense and opportunistic fast break points to streak towards an impressive 92-55 victory.

As had been discussed, Michigan's 11-1 mark coming into the contest was inflated with wins over the likes of Wofford, Delaware State and Harvard amongst other below average teams. The Wolverines had only played two true road games before Saturday, losing at NIT-bound North Carolina State and beating Miami (Ohio) by six. They certainly hadn't faced any team as talented nor athletic as UCLA, and it showed on Saturday.
