Jacksonville OL closing in on FSU offer
Thomas Edenfield has seen his stock go through the roof over the past few months. The Bartram Trail High School offensive tackle is reeling in scholarship offers left and right. Already, teams like Florida, Nebraska, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, and UNC have offered. But Edenfield says, before he makes his top five, he's waiting on offers from FSU and Auburn.
"Coach McHale says he has one waiting," said Edenfield. "He wants to see me. I'm going over there on the 5th-8th (FSU camp)."
The Rivals250 member is no stranger to Tallahassee. In fact, Edenfield spent his freshman and sophomore years at Lincoln High School before transferring to Jacksonville. The time in the Capital City gave Edenfield a chance to realize a dream, and that dream is playing for the Garnet and Gold.
"I used to live there so I know quite a bit about it," said Edenfield. "I have a lot of friends there. Me and Rodney (Gallon) are good friends. I talked to him before school was out. They had just started recruiting me then. He said he loves it there. I know Holloway too."
