Augustin ready to go

D.J. Augustin accomplished just about everything one would want as a high school basketball player. He won two state titles as the point guard for Brother Martin High in New Orleans, was selected a McDonald's All-American and was also selected to play in the Adidas Kentucky Derby All-Star game. Because players can play in only two post-season all-star games, he also turned down an invitation to the Jordan Classic.

High school will officially be behind Augustin when he walks with his Brother Martin class in the coming days and the next step in his life and basketball career will be upon him. Augustin took a few minutes to speak on a few subjects before the next chapter of his basketball career begins.

sWhat was the McDonald's All-American week like?

It was a great experience. We got to go to the Ronald McDonald house and meet the kids that are sick and inspire them. The week was great.
