Campbell eyeing sleeper

Coach Gary Campbell has been scouring the country looking for more talent to add to his already loaded stable of running backs. Recently his travels have taken him to Waco, TX to look in on 5-foot-10, 185 pounder Darrell Harris.

Harris is a relatively quiet prospect so far but is starting to garner some interest. He was selected as first team all district at running back and made honorable mention all state after compiling 1353 yards rushing and another 600 plus all purpose yards for the Waco Lions. Lions head coach Danny Ramsey gave Duck Sports Authority his thoughts on Harris.

"Tremendous kid, tremendous talent, great athlete, and a pretty good head on his shoulders," said Ramsey.

"He started at the slot position because he's a smart kid," continued Ramsey. "For our sets that guy needs to be the smartest receiver you've got. Due to some injuries and other things he ended up being a "B" back most of the time for us."
