Christen Johnson is in the 2012 class and has no ranking (yet) per Hoopgurlz.
Speaking of posts and 2012, someone to keep an eye on is Rachel Hollivay, who is ranked #3 overall and according to another fan site has narrowed her choices to two schools: Tennessee and Rutgers. This could be just a rumor, however, she lives in Mississippi around 25 miles from April's home, and plays AAU ball for Essence, where April, Chelsey and Erica played, so this bears some watching. Also, NJ post Sam Clark has been linked with Rutgers and Monmouth.
Next season we will have three posts so if we don't land another in this class we can probably wait until 2012. Still hoping for Temi (2011) but I saw a rumor that she favors Harvard. Who knows???

The FGB Florida Fan Page blog (which I hadn't heard of until a couple of weeks ago, although that doesn't mean much) is saying that Briyona Canty is "50/50 with [Rutgers,] Kentucky and South Carolina" and that Betnijah Laney "has Duke and Kentucky with Virginia and Rutgers trailing by my tally."
Leaving aside that I don't know how three teams can be 50/50, not what I'd call great news if it's reliable.

I think it's related to what the Car Guys refer to as "the third half" of their show. Or possibly Keillor's Lake Wobegon, where all the children are above average.

Just thought I'd post in the recruiting thread instead of one of the threads below.
I don't know if this means anything, but UVA, which is supposed to be in the running for Canty and Laney, has posted a press release announcing the signing of Bria Smith and nobody else. Most schools like to do all of their announcements at once, and that's what Virginia did last year.
I'm not going to draw any conclusions from this, but it is interesting.

Kentucky has announced two signings, and Briyona is not among them.
Again, this doesn't necessarily mean anything, but it's interesting.
[Very strange - instead of posting this as a new post, the site treated it as an edit of the post where I talked about the South Carolina announcement. Anyway, what I said last night about SC is still true.]
