Following the rise and fall of emotions that concluded Saturday's dramatic finish in East Hartford, the Scarlet Knights will get some extra time before they retake the field on game day. Rutgers' next contest will take place in more than a week's time when South Florida visits Piscataway on the following Thursday. That extra down time may have come at a very opportune point in the season.
