Rutgers saved the best for last in what turned out to be a fantastic finish in East Hartford. Senior wide receiver Tim Brown rescued the Scarlet Knights from the jaws of defeat when he took a Tom Savage pass in for an 81-yard touchdown with 22 seconds remaining to give Rutgers a 28-24 victory over Connecticut. The extraordinary play capped off a riveting fourth quarter in which emotions continued to rise and fall.
