The Georgia Bulldogs basketball team will have another scorer to add their potent three-guard attack this fall when freshman guard Troy Brewer arrives in Athens this July.

Brewer a native of Rockville Maryland is a 6'5" 180 shooting guard who garnered interest from schools like Maryland, Virginia Tech, and George Washington while playing high school ball at Montrose Christian High School. Brewer weighed all his options before settling on head coach Dennis Felton and the Georgia Bulldogs.

"Everything just happened at the right time for me to end up at Georgia. A lot of coaches came to see me and I think Georgia was the best fit for me for what I wanted from a school," said Brewer.
