All-ACC - With a Twist

As ballots are turned in this week for the All-Atlantic Coast Conference basketball teams, Warchant.com's Chris Nee and the Osceola's Jim Lamar joined forces to make our own selections -- with a twist.



When we had to choose between seemingly equal candidates, we gave a little extra consideration to players around the league who played especially well against Florida State.



Player of the year, Al Thornton, FSU



Call it the homer vote if you want, but Thornton simply walked on water for the Seminoles this year.



He led the ACC in scoring, both in the regular season (20.1 ppg.) and in conference games (23.5 ppg.). He was also the best rebounder in the league during conference games with an 8.8 per-game average., nudging out North Carolina's Tyler Hansbrough (8.6 rpg.).
