After searching to replace both of his coordinators, Rutgers head coach Kyle Flood today officially announced the hiring of former Kansas State head coach Ron Prince as offensive coordinator and the expected promotion of linebackers coach Dave Cohen to defensive coordinator.

Running backs coach Norries Wilson and graduate assistant Anthony Campanile were also promoted. Wilson will now serve as assistant to the head coach while Campanile slides into a role as a full-time offensive assistant, working with the wide receivers and tight ends. Tight ends coach Darnell Dinkins has left the program.
