In his second game as interim head coach, David Cox and the Rutgers basketball team gave their fans an early Christmas present they had been waiting on for over a month: a relatively easy victory.

The Scarlet Knights played efficient offense, forced turnovers and built and held onto a big lead, coasting to a 79-55 victory over Howard at the RAC. The victory is the team's fourth in a row and eighth in nine games.
