Huggins has a career day in Rutgers victory

ScarletNation.com This was the game Rutgers fans--and Savon Huggins himself--had been waiting for since the state's then-No.1 recruit committed to the program in 2011. Coming out of St. Peter's Prep, Huggins was viewed as a workhorse-caliber runner, and yesterday afternoon, he got the chance to be that bell cow back. The result was career-highs in carries (41) and yards (179) in Rutgers' 10-3 victory over Cincinnati.
