Special teams lead the way to Rutgers victory

The defense got off to a rough start, but settled in and made key plays as the day went on. The offense never really got in gear. But the third phase of football, the one Rutgers prides as much as any team in the country, ended up being the deciding factor this afternoon.

Two blocked field goals, a shanked punt and a snap over the punter's head were all instrumental in Rutgers' 28-7 victory over Army, which the Scarlet Knights secured by scoring 21 points in the final quarter.
