QB Scepaniak has early offers
Junior quarterback Caleb Scepaniak is one of the top signal callers from the Northeast in the Class of 2013.
The 6-foot-5, 225-pound quarterback has all the tools to be successful at the college level.
So far Buffalo, Cornell, Fordham and Wagner have already offered him scholarships.
In all, the Binghamton (N.Y.) Seton Catholic Central quarterback is hearing from Boston College, Syracuse, Rutgers, Penn State, Indiana, Alabama and Duke. He has visited three schools.
"I've been to Syracuse, Buffalo and Penn State for unofficial visits," he said.
"I thought Syracuse was good. It's only an hour away from me and I think it's nice. I went to the indoor facility and had dinner there. I got to sit down with the QB coach. It was just for one of their spring practices.
"Buffalo was good. I went there for one of their camps and then they took me around their football facility. They offered me after that.
"Penn State was probably my favorite. They took me around everything and I like the way everything is there."
That said, Scepaniak insisted that he doesn't have any favorites at this stage in the recruiting process.
