South Carolina passed its first test without one starter. Now the Gamecocks have a lot more to pass without another. Forward Mike Holmes is out indefinitely with a left eye injury that will require surgery. It's a tremendous blow to the Gamecocks, who are already indefinitely without senior forward Dominique Archie.
